When it comes to making ruts, Mother Nature is an enthusiast of the first order. Nothing gives her more joy than finding the prettiest gravel road you ever saw and rutting it until driving over it is almost impossible. One dreams of bold deeds and other unlikely achievements, only to be jolted to wakefulness by the ruts caused by last night’s rain. |
There are probably better ways of spending a Saturday afternoon than flying a kite, but he flew a kite anyway, and was glad he did. |
